Is anyone using HATS?
IBM has an announcement on it today.
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/announcements/host-access-transformation-services-multiplatforms-100-host-access-transformation-services-5250-applications-i-100-deliver-enhanced-security-features-expanded-support
Am I reading this announcement wrong? Did they really just come out with
Java 8 support? Did it really take them this long to migrate from
something even older?
Is this a sign that IBM is getting close to obsoleting Java 8? :-)
Since Java 8 is so fraught with problems that the recent group PTF can
cause issues with the ADMIN servers is this a good thing?
