This strange property of certain QPRTJOB jobs has been known for decades.
Back in APPN days I could do a SNDNETSPLF from one system to another and it
would appear on the target system in the QPRTJOB job. And the target
system would retain the same job number even across IPLs. Only place I've
ever seen that.
Yes to clear it out you have to
ENDJOB JOB(123456/USERNAME/QPRTJOB) OPTION(*IMMED) SPLFILE(*YES) LOGLMT(0)

Hello sages

When trying to locate spool files created by a QZDASOINIT job (in order to
create a PDF doc)
I learned that actually, the spool files are created by a QPRTJOB job that
is invoked by the initial
QZDASOINIT job.
Now,
These QPRTJOB jobs remain active with their spool files in status FIN.
(Strangely, I don't see them in WRKSPLF *ALL)

Is it a good idea to periodically end those QPRTJOB jobs with SPLFILE(*YES)
?

TIA
Gad
