Moving toward requiring all TLS connections by Q1 2026.
When this is put in place, Navigator will not function except to set up TLS
if not using https protocol and secure connections
Use of TLS wizard will be allowed
Bookmarks (launch to DCM) will be available
One time warning: Warning: NAV_201002: The connection to this node is not
secured with TLS. It will soon be required to use only secure connections
when connecting to an IBM i. When this change comes into effect, you will
only be able to use Navigator with this node to configure TLS.
Go to Serviceablility > Connection Properties > TLS Connection to secure
all connections between the GUI and managed nodes.
Warning if not logging in with TLS port:
Warning if not using TLS connections: Warning: NAV_201001: Connection is
not secured with TLS. It will soon be required to use only secure
connections when connecting to an IBM i. Go to Serviceablility > Connection
Properties > TLS Connection to secure all connections between the GUI and
managed nodes.
In preparation for this, we are adding additional warnings when you log in
without using secure connections.
