Hi Birgitta,

My idea is that it may depend on the fact that the user who initiated the
connection is set in the German language, and I don't think it could be
other way.
Even if the current user is then changed to one set in the English
language, I presume that only authorizations are adopted from it, not other
attributes.

I don't know if a *JOBD might be of help.

I am looking forward to the community's opinion.

I have an IBM i partition with German as primary language and English as
secondary language.
Normally I’m working with the English Version of all tools (ACS, RDi,
VSCode).
In ACS (Green Screen and all other tools) and RDi we managed it to get
everything incl. all (error) messages are in English which is fine.

However in VSCode we get the compile message and debug message in German.
For me no problem, but I have now a coworker who is not able to speak
German and so it is a pain to work with VSCode.
Until now we didn’t find what to change.

Does someone know what we have to do or change, so she can properly work
with VSCODE?

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards
