Hi, Joseph,
Try these IBM web pages:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/sk/i/7.4.0?topic=i-backup-recovery-considerations-eim
and
https://community.ibm.com/community/user/discussion/backing-up-and-recovering-of-eim-data
and
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/ldap-replication-emphasis-eim-data
Also ask your "HA" vendor support about this topic.
All the best,
Mark S. Waterbury

We have recently implemented a high availability software solution. On
the current production system, we have implemented single sign-on by using
IBM i Enterprise Identity Mapping (EIM) solution. The HA software
solution does not address EIM data. Other than manually entering source
and target information into both systems, is anyone aware of a process that
would replicate EIM data between a source and target IBM i system? In a
role-swap scenario, end users should be able to access the target system as
they would the source system by not having to enter a password.
Understanding that there may be some issues with EIM under User Registries
and LDAP, I am just attempting to determine if this is feasible or should
be managed manually through IBM Navigator for i.
