An option for moving SAVF's, one which doesn't address this situation
directly, is to use RDi to drag and drop a SAVF between systems.  If I'm
developing on system A and have connections to Systems B and C, I can drag
and drop SAVF's, A<->B, A<->C, or C<->B.  It's not hyperspeed but no
network configuring is required and it gets the job done.  I set up a
library-level filter on the destination system, navigate (through a filter)
to the SAVF on the origin system, and then drag and drop.  If you see the
progress indicator in the lower right corner, you're good.
