I'm getting the error "Reset for Maintenance failed with retcode -1" in
the install_acs_log when attempting to "install" ACS on a fresh Windows 11
machine.
I run the install_acs_64_allusers.js script from a shared network folder,
which I've installed ACS dozens of times on dozens of machines - including
Win11 - and have never seen this error. The install runs like normal, and
installs the icons on the desktop as requested, and I get the window
stating that install has finished, with the caveat "errors occurred during
the installation".
The "Reset for Maintenance failed" error shows up right after the "\IBMi
Access\Start_Programs\Windows_x86-64\acslaunch_win-64.exe" /PLUGIN=maint
/killdaemon" command in the log.
After the install is complete, and I try to launch ACS, I see the DOS
windows pop open for a second, and then... nothing.
I've tried reinstalling Java (I use the Oracle 64bit). I've tried
uninstalling/reinstalling ACS. Deleted all the local ACS files and
directories that I could find. Nothing's working.
Any ideas? My next step is to try completely resetting the PC and
starting over.
Thanks
