Word from folks that would know is the Java
Rendering along with the OS is the problem. I don’t know that the group has come up with a suitable solution.

Play with fonts until you get one that is tolerable.

You may need to go find and download some font files. The same Java/font on my MAC and PC produce different results, the MAC being superior.

The Terminal emulator on Windows 11 looks horrible. The font is all jaggie.
I have the preferences set the same as on my Windows 10 machine, but there
the font is nice and smooth.

Maybe it's not Windows 11 because things aren't exactly the same

Windows 10 machine (looks good)
Jdk 1.8.0_242 AdoptOpenJDK
iACS v1.1.9.3

Windows 11 machine (looks bad)
Jdk 17.0.16 Eclipse Adoptium
iACS v1.1.9.9
