I'm predicting IBM announces End of Program Support for IBM i 7.4 within 45
days. They'll give you one years notice so I'm predicting it will take
effect 2026-09-30.
Now you'll need to decide to either upgrade, pay extra for extended
service, or whatever.

Something to think about as budget time approaches.
