New ideas for IBM Power systems

I submitted a few IBM ideas for IBM Power Systems and IBM i.

One was that since IBM (generally) supports four releases on each Power
system that IBM change the scale up a notch. Keep four releases but
instead of x-2 to x+1 go to x-1 to x+2. So instead of Power 11 supporting
7.4-iNext they should have had Power 11 supporting 7.5 to iNext+1. Instead
of targeting Power 8 upgrades (topped out at 7.4) allow software vendors to
be able to buy a new machine which will allow them to get some
longevity and be able to test a couple of new releases for their
customers. The vendors can keep an old machine for the older customers.

The other was to have a P05 tier level system in every new initial Power
system rollout. I understand the philosophy of getting new processors to
the high end for those straining for new hardware. However, these same
people often cannot migrate unless their software vendors certify the new
hardware (or new release of IBM i). And the software vendors often want a
