technically the "web browser" (HTML5/js...) used as a ERP terminal is just
an incident of history, like many things, like many suburbs in some cities,
powerful and complex, but accrued and grown little by little without
particular order at beginning.
To me one one the best thin client technology is just beaming pixels to
the terminal (raster abstraction, with over it the obvious
optimizations).Session / render / display manager centrally, to keep those
cores and accelerator busy.Basically a technology, that, like fiber optics,
you can scale it for decades and build upon.
