That worked. I created the monitor with a profile that is setup with a job
description that was setup to use the single threaded queue. In this case
it was okay to change the profile to use a mult threaded queue. I did so
and it worked. Result is, it used the profile that set it up and runs as,
setup.

The jobD or sbmjob determines the RTGDTA.
But either way still best to not use qs36evoke jobq because you may run
into a similar non-running issue if there is a max number of jobs for the
qbatch subsystem.

I use Navigator for i - Monitors. They work well, but had an issue

today.

My monitors will submit a job that sends an email and text about the
error.
The monitor triggered as it should have. An error on a job that was
running in a single threaded job queue (QBATCH). I never got the
email/text, when I found the error the job queue was backed up and in

the

jobs in the list was the job that submits the program that sends the
email/text. I could see the command that would send the email/text.

after

the job that held up the job queue was cleared the email/text was
received.

Question is how can I change the job queue that the monitors run in? I
would like for them to run in QBATCH2, it is a multiple job job queue.
