Create your own jobd and assign it to that job queue.

Then set the user to use that jobd.

That would be a great job queue to run in.
How do I get that function to run in that job queue? Currently when the
system triggers the job is ending up in QBATCH.
I think I just figured it out. The profile that is submitting this job
(the one that setup the monitor) has a job description that uses QBATCH. I
could use another job description for the profile.
going to look down that path.

Try QUSRNOMAX for those types of jobs.

I use Navigator for i - Monitors. They work well, but had an issue
today.
My monitors will submit a job that sends an email and text about the
error.
The monitor triggered as it should have. An error on a job that was
running in a single threaded job queue (QBATCH). I never got the
email/text, when I found the error the job queue was backed up and in the
jobs in the list was the job that submits the program that sends the
email/text. I could see the command that would send the email/text.
after
the job that held up the job queue was cleared the email/text was
received.

Question is how can I change the job queue that the monitors run in? I
would like for them to run in QBATCH2, it is a multiple job job queue.

TIA
