Good News Everybody!

A new search engine is coming soon.

As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Might this be an opportunity for those who live on the bleeding edge?
Upgrade to Power 10 (or maybe 11) and IBM i 7.6 NOW and perhaps have an
opportunity to get a permanent license before they are retired?
Other than BRMS, my 7.6 keys are perm keys.
Product ID . . . . . . . . : 5770SS1
License term . . . . . . . : V7R6M0
Feature . . . . . . . . . . : 5050
Description . . . . . . . . : IBM i
Keyed compliance information:
Expiration date . . . . . : *NONE

Of course, if you already have a P10 or above there's nothing stopping you
from ordering your 7.6 keys early...

Keep in mind, if you do like leading edge, a P10 will likely be obsolete in
3 years when iNext comes out. If the pattern continues.

Thanks for the update.Really disgraceful in my opinion this "forced"
push toward subscriptions, without the option of a permanent license (even
at a premium price).
As a customer I don't receive this as a positive thing, I want to have
internal control on when a machine will cease to function.
At least a customer with existing permanent contracts since years should
be able to preserve them and move them on a new machine.Personally I wanted
to but new machines as a tech refresh, but if that requires avoiding my
permanent licenses, I'll wait.Even Windows Server has options, and that
says a lot...
