Hello John,

Everyone year or so I ask this question :)
Can't recall to have ever read this in this group. :-)
Has anyone got net-snmp working on the on the IBM I or SNMP Get and WALK ?
No. But surprisingly, even ancient OS/400 V4R5 has SNMP APIs! Which I use from C programs, but not in PASE. I prefer to create "native" applications.
See here (and links within):

I use SNMP to pull values from 1-Wire sensors through a gateway:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1-Wire
Does that help?
(I have not yet found time and patience to implement snmpset as native OS/400 application using those APIs, or expand my existing code to utilize snmp set for changing device parameters. A lot of work in front of me, a lot of indirections to reach my goal. Not particularly motivating. :-) )
