I know this is just FUD, but when you use a utility like EXPJRNE then you
have to get a certificate from them that their software supports the latest
version of the OS before you can upgrade. IBM could always add some new
datatype, etc. I'm already dealing with enough people dragging their feet
that there is no way we'll be able to upgrade most of our machines in our
June downtime and it's unlikely September will be 100%.
Granted, I'm still getting my head wrapped around this whole open source
thing.
