This is going back to the customer that's having trouble with massive
disk overutilization.
I'd already given the opinion that most of that disk overutilization was
excessive journal receiver retention.
And it seems they asked for help elsewhere, and got the same opinion,
only in a bit more detail, something about an XPJRNMGT job getting (for
lack of a better term) clogged.
Anybody have any insights into what this is? The name suggests something
about journal management, but given that it doesn't start with a "Q,"
it's probably not IBM-supplied, and if it were anything we had anything
to do with, I wouldn't need to ask for anybody's insights.
