We are using the exact same versions of Java and ACS with both versions of the VDI.
We are primarily getting socket errors and they appear to be linked to Kerberos. If we switch to manual login, we can connect. We have verified the ports for Kerberos are open. We also get some "errors" on the dos popup window (I don’t remember what they are and I don't have a screen in front of me right now) that make no sense to me...like most Java error messages.
Supposedly both VDIs are configured the same although we keep getting told by the VDI team that the two program don't work the same. So, if they don't work the same, how can they be sure that they are configured the same?
I really think we are going to have to fight thought the wireshark "we don't want to install that on the VDI" problem to find the root cause.
My question was really hoping to get a response from someone saying that we have it working but had to change X to get there or we never got it working and scrapped it. I don't really expect anyone on here to try to remotely figure it out for us.

My client was using VMWare Horizon as their VDI. They are in the

with ACS. Since the Horizon VDI works correctly, we think this has to
be in the Workspot configuration somewhere. We have gotten IBM
involved and they are asking for wireshark network traces but getting
that installed on the VDI has opened a whole different can of worms.
We are trying to work through this but it has become overly painful.
How is it not working? Are you getting an error?
Is java already installed? If so, what version?
Personally, I recommend copying a known working version of Java into the iACS dir (named JRE) and the launchers will use that java.
