The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
You would need to re-install LIC, take option to initialize the system and then install OS. This will wipe out everything you have on the system.

Subject: Reinstalling IBM i 7.3?
Hi there,
I'm working on reinstalling IBM i 7.3 from scratch because I hit my 70 day eval window on DB2 and ILE (I have a permanent OS license). I did the IPL from a USB drive, and it says it reinstalled, but it came back up with my system configuration (and expired licenses). I am trying to work with Midland to buy an RDi/ILE license, but IBM is being difficult about this.
Apparently DB2 and Query for i are free nowadays, but you still need license keys (or a PTF?) but I don't have access to those.
Do I need to load the diagnostic DVD and format the array first to get a clean reinstall?
Any pointers here would help!
