Hi Gavin,

We currently use a solution of Qlik (formerly Attunity) to real time replicate data between Iseries DB2 and SQL.

With "SQL" you mean Microsoft SQL-Server?

If yes, there is an DRDA option for SQL-Server that allows "native" access to IBM i tables from SQL-Server.

We think we've reached a point where we're outgrowing this solution.

In what way? Doesn't it perform well? Does it only go into one direction?

We're looking to see if there are any alternatives by IBM or another vendor that anyone knows of or has experience with.

The biggest question is still - why is the replication necessary anyway?

Kind regards,
Daniel
