The reason was eventually found and - surprisingly - it was not a Windows issue!

I use the Norton Security package and in there was a notification that Norton had suddenly decided that my personal local network was a public network and thus disabled a bunch of functions - including FTP.

So I would recommend everybody using Norton to check on this once in a while.

But now my entire process is up and running again: Webpage booking form creates email --> Email client creates text file and FTP:s to the partition also with a trigger --> Excel fires up and updates a spreadsheet with new bookings --> A response email is sent to person who booked the event.

Many moving parts but works and makes life somewhat easier 😊
