Hi Justin,

this might work in your script:

begin
if not exists (select 1 from systables where table_schema = 'MYLIB' and table_name = 'MYTABLE') then
create table mylib.mytable as (
...
) with data;
end if;
end;

I don't have a session at hand right now - but this should work - maybe with some syntax errors corrected.

SQL compound statements (begin ... end;) do work in SQL scripts - in iACS and in RUNSQLSTM.

HTH
Daniel

I have a SQL script (running in ACS RSS) with a CREATE TABLE:

create table MyLib.MyTable as (
-- select statement here
) with data;

If the table already exists, I want the script to skip that statement and
just go on. Any suggestions?

Thanks
