I know we're off on a tangent, but the sql create index was enhanced many
releases ago to accommodate those simple LF's from many ERP vendors whose
sole purpose was to add a primary key.

It has quirks (see the bottom)

create index rob.iiml01
on rob.iim(iprod)
where iid = 'IM'
rcdfmt IPI100IM ADD IID, IPROD, IDESC
-- This did not work as it appears. Key columns will appear first. And,
what is "Open"?
-- DSPFFD
-- Data Field Buffer Buffer
-- Field Type Length Length Position
-- IPROD Open 35 35 1
-- IID CHAR 2 2 36
