I suggest you prompt that and fill it all the way in
CALL PGM(BRNCHSEC)
     PARM(('1' (*CHAR 1)) ('INVMAS' (*CHAR 10)) ...
Otherwise there's a lot of assumptions there, Character or Logical?  Pad to
a default size of 32 bytes?  And so on.
