No. It's an ODBC connection. You cannot prove this way that it really came from a .NET job. Only that it was an ODBC connection.

The PC guys said it wasn't them.

You can do the same: It wasn't you either.

In the end I agreed to change the external program on the add items sp. So here I am working on a Saturday changing a program that I don't believe needs to be changed because (I believe) they can't find what's updating the IBMi.

Well… you agreed, did you? ;-)

But I understand the utter lack of appeal and you definitely have my sympathy.
