I don't recall whether this was the article that cemented my reaction. Even with this pricing, though, given the hesitancy shops had for springing for RDi licenses (which I believe is less expensive than Merlin, although I may be misunderstanding "per seat"), and adding the complexity of needing/purchasing/configuring/maintaining a VPC (Virtual Processor Core), I'm just not seeing a rush to embrace Merlin. Rob's post that claimed 2% of shops using Merlin (while VS Code4i is already at 53%!) doesn't surprise me at all.
