Re: Automate spool download using ACS

I did look to see if there was some way to run acslaunch directly on IBM
i. With the hopes of doing something like
qsh ... asclaunch ... /PLUGIN=splf ...
but I don't believe there is a way to get all the way down to the desired
spool files. The file transfer process does allow you to get more
specific. Just not spool files.

By "directly on" I do mean without submitting a remote command to some
other machine to run acslaunch

We have a monthly task where we need to download about 20 spool files to

individual text documents. Really easy with ACS, except it?s manual. We
know the user, and spool queue and of course the date we need.

I could email an archive file from the system if I can get them all into

the archive. Various topics surrounding this topic have gone on in the
list , but not one that actually hits his use case (Sorry Brad I know you
can do this but they won?t pop for the small amount each year)

Thoughts on the process?
