Hi Bryan
I found it interesting that those 9.12 sections say nothing about uploading from or downloading to a PC folder. There is a brief comment in section 2 of that link, "Integrated File System provides an interface for browsing the Integrated File System of your IBM i. Supported actions include view, download/upload to/from your PC and send to other IBM i partitions."
A question for Javier, do want to make the download available on more than one user's PC? Or only to a single PC? If it is the latter, then I can think of at least 1 option - on the IBM i, set up an NFS mount to a PC server, then use the [advanced] job scheduler to run the IFS mov command, moving the file to the NFS mount.
If it is to run anywhere, then the JT400 Java tooling can be used to copy bytes from the IBM i to a PC - it contains the IFSFileInputStream method.

Integrated File System provides an interface for browsing the Integrated File System of your IBM i and working with objects in the Integrated File System in the following ways:
Copy objects between your client system and your IBM i
Copy objects within the Integrated File System on an IBM i or to the Integrated File System on another IBM i
Send objects to another IBM i (or to several)
Create new folders (directories, libraries, and folders)
Delete objects
Rename objects
View properties of objects
See section 9.12 Integrated File System (IFS)<https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/ibm-i-access-acs-getting-started#9.12> for requirements and limitations when using this plug-in.

I have been looking around the documentation of iACS related to automating
file transfers using a script (a .cmd file), to run every day automatically
at 7am and download files to a PC folder.
It looks like it only support dttx and dtfx files and in turn these refer
to the LIBRARY/FILE(MEMBER) format.
I thought iACS allowed to download IFS files, the GUI does it, but I need a
command-line, automated process.
Have I not looked for it very well, or this option simply is not possible?
Thanks in advance for your help.
