I've been unable to get internet searches or IBM to confirm or deny this(or
question: Can HP Nimble storage be used as IBM i storage when connected
via SAN fibre network.
I know we could add it as external storage with a Flash System and SVC
an SVC controller) but I don't see any indication that it will or willnot
work via SAN network without SVC. These are mostly test/dev partitionsand
not production so throughput and speed are not issues.
According to
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00008273enw&docLocale=en_US
there is no mention of IBM i. However they support AIX, so it could work
through a VIOS and vSCSI setup.

There is maybe more information the SPOCK web site, but it requires an
