Good morning all.
Our developers were using RDI V9.6. I was able to bring in RDI V9.8 without issue or cost.
Have never experienced what Greg is describing as far as ACS SQL performance and STRSQL performance.
They've always been equal when I've run an SQL statement either way.
I'm on V7R4, PTF's not quite current.
Power 10, NVMe disk.
Respectfully,

subject: Latest version of RDI
Hello all,
I have a fully-licensed and paid-for version 9.6 of RDI. Anyone know if I'd be entitled to the latest 9.8 version for no cost or would I have to buy it again?

subject: SQL in ACS vs Green Screen
I just observed the oddest thing... I have several SQL statements that aren't terribly complex. However, they would not finish in ACS (would not show any results and ran for almost an hour).
If I copy the same SQL statements into the green screen STRSQL, they show results within seconds.
I ended the QZDASONIT jobs after canceling the action in ACS. I also restarted the ACS Run SQL scripts application.
Anyone ever encounter this?
TIA
Greg
