Re: ACS console via HMC

quick additional question. Do I have to open the ACS menu app to select
"Console/5250 Console", or can I get that as a desktop icon?

The problem is that he has an HMC but he does't start the shared sessions
on the HMC using either direct access to a physical HMC, or vmware display
to a vHMC. If you start the shared sessions on that first then you bypass
the language selection and several of the other screens.
