Greetings! Long time lurker here, as a result of googling some deep dark IBMish problem. Now I have one hopefully someone can help me work through. I'm at my wits end.
I'm putting together an ACS deployment (version 1.1.9.4, local and admin-customized) for a few hundred Windows 64-bit machines. 5250 terminal emulator is what the users interact with almost exclusively. All configurations must be done by the administrator as the end user station will be locked down. We're deploying with Microsoft SCCM (or Endpoint as they refer to it these days).
The problem: how to disable tabbed sessions in the ACS 5250 terminal emulator out of the box? Tabs are enabled by default. The tabs enabled/disabled setting is not saved in the hod file, it is set in acssm.ini which doesn't get created until the user opens ACS for the first time. Pointy Haired Veep wants it configured as part of the deployment.
Has anyone done this before? I can't figure this one out myself.
