MIght be, My E02 at the time had triple AA size batteries. I don't have my
170 front panel near me to check,
They would be located in the control unit.

I vaguely recall seeing something like that in our 40S, and/or in our
CISC boxes (all long-gone), but the only battery I've seen in a 170
(either in the manual or in the physical box) is a 2450 coin cell.
