Hi,

I'm posting this here as well as RPG400-L to get more eyes on it.

We have a process that generates RPGLE source code and compiles it into
qtemp. Then the program is called.

The program appears to ignore the RPG cycle in that the primary and
secondary files are apparently never read from or even opened.
It just executes the *INZSR and LR is somehow set on.

The program is then immediately called again and it works correctly. That
is, it executes the *INZSR and then opens the primary and secondary files
and begins reading data from them (the program uses matching record
indicator to determine which file order sequence to read from).

Any ideas why the first execution misbehaves but the second works fine?

Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

Thomas Garvey
