Hello,

Am 28.11.2024 um 18:57 schrieb gio.cot via MIDRANGE-L <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>:

I followed your suggestion : i copied the URL that i received in th answer and pasted in the url browser, and i was able to download (in this case) the csv file

Expectably. Great!

at this point the questioni is: while "SYSTOOLS.HTTPGETCLOB" works fine and seems that it automatically manage redirect, with QSYS2_HTTP_GET_VERBOSE , is not possible to do that i a transparent manner ?

I don't know. I'm working mainly with stone age OS releases as a hobby. I'm just throwing in my general knowledge about protocols and networking in general.

or wich workaround to sole this problem ? more i don't understand what the meaning of "redirect" as the response with or without "redirect" is the same.

I don't know the API, so I can't answer this question.

I suggest you just check the response in your program, and if it's a redirect, try again with the given URL from the response. It's valid to have redirected redirects. So maybe do this in a loop for, say, 8 times or so.

:wq! PoC
