Reggie, the command is STRTCPSVR *SSHD but we gotta tell you if you are on 7.1 you are WAY BEHIND ON SECURITY FIXES to SSH/SFTP.

There are lots of reasons people upgrade their systems within the 3-release cadence and you fell of the edge of the earth some years ago 😁

Subject: How to start SFTP

Hello,

We have an iSeries running on OSv 7.1 and was running an application that is using ftp port 21 and was asked to start using secure ftp which is port 22. We do not happen see port 22 listening on the AS400. How would we start this port to listen? Thank you.
