Then, I would suggest NOT to do that kind of thing.
The main reason you use IBM i and take a SAVSYS is because of its
reliability.
USB drives are not on the same page, they are slow and sometimes they
fail because of your IBM Power server firmware.
Need to save to an external media? Save your Option 22 or SAVSYS to an
Optical Image Catalog and burn the UDF/ISO images on physical DVDs. Or
use a Remote Virtual Optical Catalog using NFS.
