Too many people out there: "I know it breaks this function and I know it
breaks this other function and makes downloading files a nightmare but
'better the devil you know than the devil you don't'".
"If it was such a bad thing then why does IBM default it to that?" To make
it so unbearably painful that you pick the correct one for your location,
perhaps?
Many installations have changed this system value midday during production
and have never looked back.
