The CSR shouldn't be the issue.  More likely the private key is the issue.  If you deleted the CSR from DCM, my guess is that it deleted the CSR and the private key with it.  So, even if you had the txt format of the CSR, without the associated private key, it won't help you.

How was the CSR deleted?
