The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
We have a couple apps created with CNX App Builder... we run them on iPads. They have a mobile version of their portal called Valence-Mobile on the App Store, but we don't use it.
We use Bluetooth scanners with some of the apps.. so far the biggest challenge is the lack of any audible tone from the iPad when a field is in error.
I've also been thinking of how we can replace our 5250 "green screen" applications with something running on mobile devices (OS agnostic). But in our case, that audible beep indicating "user did something wrong" is very important (our folks rarely look at the screen).

Subject: [EXTERNAL] IBM i and Mobile Apps
Hi all,
Has anyone else here been doing any mobile app development ?
I've been developing some progressive web apps and it's a great way to web apps without having to be device specific.
Would love to chat about others experiences.
