The cloud provider reopened the case with IBM. IBM says:

<IBM>
*Case Title*

*V7R5 partition gets QSYSOPR message for license key for 5770JS1IBM Support
CommentedIf PTF SI84894 is applied then at this time the messages can be
ignored for any of the products listed in document 7066410. There is a plan
for a new PTF to be released at this time there is no date when the ptf
will be ready.*
</IBM>

They also pointed to this page
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/7066410 which states:

<IBM>

*There is no action needed to resolve the issue of the announced products
not being listed in WRKLICINF since this is expected and even with an
expiration showing, these products whose licensing is no longer needed,
will continue to work.*
</IBM>

They plan on another PTF which I'm guessing is to get rid of the messages.

STRJS is not in the startup program so it must start automatically.

I am scheduling an IPL this Friday evening to apply a TR PTF group. Well
see after that.

It is now 3 days past the license expiration and the messages are still
happening daily. They were supposed to stop when the day's countdown
got
to 0, per IBM.

Thankfully, AJS is working.

I suggested to the cloud provider I think we need to open another ticket
with IBM on whether these messages are ever going to stop or if there is
some 'grace' period going on here that will come to an end and AJS will
simply quit.

maybe a silly question but… did you try to turn it off and on again?

e. g. stop the job for AJS and start it again?

:wq! PoC
