The most elegant way (IMHO) to purge old spool files
is the following:

CALL SYSTOOLS.DELETE_OLD_SPOOLED_FILES(DELETE_OLDER_THAN
=>CURRENT_TIMESTAMP - 035 DAYS, P_OUTPUT_QUEUE_NAME => '*ALL')

I use a CL wrapper PGM that receives 1 parameter, the number of days (035)
and runs the A/M SQL using RUNSQL.
a 2nd parameter for OUTQ Name can easily be added .
