Hi Bryan

I just looked through the journal entry information for IFS objects - it doesn't look like any of the entries have the creator name. I looked in QSYSINC on a 7.5 machine, as well as some other stuff on 7.5 page online.

But these did not show me anything about creator - but would the creator not be the job user? IFS journal entries are B type - B0 or B1 are related to creation, it looks like - I've not dabbled in this for quite awhile, hope I'm close, anyhow!

Cheers
Vern

it would probably be found if the specific IFS directory was journaled.

Not looking for the owner of the IFS object, but the profile who created the IFS object. DSPOBJD will show me the profile that created a native file object as well as the owner of the object. I need this for IFS objects. qsys2.ifs_object_statistics doesn't show who created the object.
I'm pretty sure that this information is not retained and only recorded at creation time in the global audit log — if auditing is enabled.
