Subject: AFPDS Color printing

A client has a multifunction OKIMC883 printer connected to the network via a
simple printer server.

This printer is used to print business documents (Invoices, Packing
Statements, Order acknowledgements) from the IBMi.

Each document has a nice overlay and the printer file is of type AFPDS.

All works fine.

BUT they would now prefer to have their logo in color. This does not work.

I have tried to change the MFRTYPMDL parameter from *OKI820 to *HPCOLORLJ
and restart the writer. Still printouts with color overlays still come out
in black.

I found the recommendation for MFRTYPMDL in the IBM support pages for
another multifunction OKI printer btw.

I have logged onto the printer server and found no settings referring to
model or protocol there.

Any suggestions?
