Hello Michael

EIM uses LDAP on the IBM i, which is provided by Directory Services. There are some QShell commands that let you interrogate an LDAP server - we use one to get user info from Active Directory - ldapsearch is the command - it's been years since I looked at any of this, but that command gives you a list according to the parameters you give it - that list can be redirected to a text file in the IFS.

You might google for ldapsearch eim ibm i or some such. There also might be something to look at Dir Serv in Navigator.

Good luck - and I hope someone can expand on this.

Does anyone know if there's a way to report Kerberos EIM mappings? In the past this wasn't kept up to date and we have some detritus. I was wondering if there's a way to get e report of all the mappings entered If not I'll just use the IBM Navigator for i interface and go through everything one entry at a time.
