The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
RRN is an *absolutely reliable* way to reference a specific record,
regardless of the presence or absence of a unique key . . . so long as
*you* have the file *open.*
If the file isn't open in *your* job, then the prudent thing to do is to
treat RRNs as an "all bets are off" situation, given that *any* user
with sufficient authority can do a RGZPFM on *any* file, at *any* time,
so long as he or she can get an exclusive lock on it.
