We have a client that would like to get email notifications of alerts.
As an example the attention light was on and the cause was the Ethernet
line failed overnight. I suspect there was some network maintenance.
So the orange light is on and I get an email enquiring why.
My investigation finds the Ethernet line failure and subsequent recovery.
I am not aware of any default way to get an email if a problem is created
- I'm sure there are API's and most likely SQL options to read current
problems so if I want to write something that would be one place to start.
Is there anything already provided on the system that can be turned on /
set up that would achieve the same result ?
Thanks
Don
