You can't make this stuff up:
"The Fix Central Team has determined that because of a potential
security risk the use of the * sign is no longer allowed on FTPS file
transfers."
So no more 'mget *.bin' in your download scripts.
IBM Made this change a bit ago but didn't say anything about it. The
email you get with the instructions will be updated to mention this new
restriction. IBM Suggest that to automate this, make the connection, do
a DIR with output redirected to a file, then process that file and run
individual GET commands for each of the bin files. yeah, I'm gonna do
that.... NOT.
Alternatively of course, one of the emails that comes indicating your
files are ready does list the files. So ou could copy and paste those
names from the email into your download script.
Now, for whatever However you may continue to use splat with SFTP. Thus
it's much more likely I'm gonna do this instead.
