Can anyone give me information on MFRTYPMDL(*PDF) in a printer device description? I am converting a customer to be hosted on our IBM I and need to configure the printer with the description below on our system. It works there but not here. I tried *HP5 for the host print transform and made no difference.
It eventually issues CPD337F.
They are on V7R3M0 and we were on V7R4M0.
I cannot ping the printer, but I also cannot ping one that is actually working.
MFRTYPMDL(*PDF) may have nothing to do with it, but never saw that used before and my google searches came up empty.
I verified with the user that they print a hard copy, not a PDF, and it is a multifunction device.
