What do you mean by "Webserver" ? is this perhaps websphere?
If one is running 5770 DG1 at V7R5 - IBM HTTP Server for i, has group
ptf SF99952 , recently updated.
Cover letters are certainly important, but more often than not, it is
instruction on how to apply immediate.
i had to go back to 9/08/23 to find a security bulletin that applied to
5770-DG1.(and its in the group ptf
For simple sites without other products outside of DG1 - is the group ptfs
(including hipers and cume) considered "enough"?

Depends on what you mean by http. Webserver no longer delivers via PTF.(Well,
It used to be that you ordered WebServer PTF's, loaded them and applied
them, and then you still had to run some scripts to get them to update.
Some people never read the cover letters and never ran the scripts.

Over the past few months I've been receiving security bulletins and

various software and install it. These used to simply point to PTFs tolist

Is it no longer enough to stay current on PTFs?
